Today there is a great deal of talk about reconciliation amongst our people and the peoples of the world.  Old differences run deep, not only between Native and Non-Native peoples, but even between our own many nations.  These differences are like a cancer that eats away at the heart of Native America.  Sometimes these differences even come between brothers and sisters in Christ.  This is a tragedy.  Until we as a people from many nations allow ourselves to be first reconciled to God the Father through a true relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ, true reconciliation with each other is impossible.

"Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.  Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God."
2 Cor 5:18-20 (NKJ)

True Reconciliation is in Jesus !
